Rotary · hot water · aqueousIronWash Rotor parts washers clean oily engine parts, tools and machined components automatically: heated water-based detergent is sprayed over the parts while the basket turns. Four sizes, from the compact Rotor 800 to the Rotor 1400.

A rotary parts washer (also called a spray-cabinet or aqueous parts washer) replaces the solvent sink and the brush. Parts go into the basket, the lid closes, and the machine heats the wash water, sprays it from two spray lines and turns the basket, so every side is cleaned without anyone standing over it.
The Rotor heats its tank with 9 kW (Rotor 800 and 1000) or 15 kW (Rotor 1200) of elements, controlled by a 0–60 °C thermostat and a weekly heating timer, so the machine is warm when the shift starts. A 0.9 kW wash pump moves 21 t/h through the spray lines. A disc oil separator skims off oil, and filters under the basket catch chips and small parts.
Pick the model by the largest part and the heaviest load you need to wash: the basket diameter and washing height must take the part, and the load rating must take the batch. The Rotor 800 takes 150 kg in a Ø740 × 450 mm basket, the Rotor 1000 300 kg in Ø940 × 500 mm and the Rotor 1200 400 kg in Ø1140 × 600 mm. Tell us your part sizes and we will confirm the fit.
Load the rotating basket, close the hinged lid and start the programme. Two spray lines wash every side of the parts as the basket turns. Sized for small and medium-sized parts, with basket loads from 150 kg (Rotor 800) to 400 kg (Rotor 1200).

A parts washer is a machine that cleans oil, grease and dirt off mechanical parts, so they can be inspected, repaired or reassembled. Manual parts washers are sinks or tubs with a brush and a pump. An automatic parts washer, like the IronWash Rotor, closes the parts in a cabinet and sprays them with heated, water-based detergent while the basket turns, with nobody having to stand at the sink.
Request a quote with the form or email us. Tell us what you clean, the size and weight of your largest part and where the machine is going, and we will send an itemised quote for the machine, with delivery to your site quoted separately.
Rotor baskets range from Ø740 × 450 mm and 150 kg (Rotor 800) to Ø1140 × 600 mm and 400 kg (Rotor 1200). Sonic platforms take 70 kg (Sonic 160X), 100 kg (Sonic 160) or 220 kg (Sonic 310), with a useful basket of up to 930 × 560 × 390 mm. Rotor 1400 specifications are on request.
No. The Rotor uses water-based detergents in low concentrations, heated by the machine (thermostat 0–60 °C). The Sonic uses a heated bath of water and detergent (Sonic 160X thermostat 0–80 °C), with the detergent matched to the material being cleaned.
Rotor machines need a 400 V three-phase supply with neutral and earth (other voltages on request), and 6–8 bar compressed air. The Sonic 160X needs 400 V three-phase; supply details for the Sonic 160 and 310 are confirmed on your quote.
Pump the spent solution into an IBC and have it collected by a licensed waste contractor. The oil separator (Rotor) or oil decanting (Sonic) and the filtration extend the time between changes.
